Do they have the right to monopolize the food supply globally?

With about 6% market share they are doing a very poor job of dominating global food supply.

6% of the global share?

Poor job huh?

That is a giant percentage of the total.

Do you work for or with a lot of agriculture? Monsanto?

Call me crazy but don't you think people should know what they are consuming into their bodies?

This is a real thing.

Grapefruits were developed by blasting radiation at orange seeds, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts are all cultivars of the mustard plant. Nothing we eat looks anything like it did 100 years ago.

I work in the environmental movement, specifically with saving endangered species, I come from the wheatbelt and now live in vineyard country. I know people who used to be permaculture fanatics who have now come out the other side and realize that a mix of modern (Industrial) and traditional pratices is where it is at if you need to make sure you get produce of a high quality. You can decry chemicals all you want but used correctly they are safe, save money, increase yields and are better for the environment.

You have to ask yourself one day who is funding all the disinfo and crap out there, the organic industry is full of charlatans who convince people to buy poor grade produce at a higher price based on fear campaigns about chemicals. There is an attack on agriculture to make it less efficient to keep populations down, once you get that all the bullshit becomes easier to see and understand.

Don't let fear guide you, research more and understand the motivations of the activists and how they destroy faith in science using feelings and scare campaigns.

I do use traditional and modern techniques and I grow food crops. I also talk to lots of farmers and they are strongarmed into using Monsanto gmo frankenfoods. My main problem is the round up ready crops and gmo corn etc..

Glyophoshphate is HERBICIDE...(ie.) toxic.

The crops are laced with their patented poison.

Characterizing it any other way would be like me Putting lipstick on a pig.

Their poison is laced throughouthat 6 percent of the food supply of the world.... Quite an accomplishment yes but, poison and genetically uncharted territory.

Think for yourself

Righto, there is no glyphosate in the genome of any roundup ready plant, what they actually do is splice a bacterium onto the plant to allow it to take up nutrients that is blocked by roundup in traditional plants. Think of it like a salt tolerant plant that can survive in high salt levels due to genetic modification.

Anyone who says different is spreading disinfo because that is what the scare campaign has told them.

The reverse is also true... They are a multi billion global conglomerate.

Do you believe high fructose Monsanto corn syrup is also safe?

No disrespect to you at all.

I see them as the profiteering liars they appear to be to me.

I believe HFCS to be safe but it should be consumed in small quantities not in the massive amounts most people consume them. I'm not advocating for Monsanto's business practices in terms of seed selling only the science that the product stands on, Coke is a much more damaging company in my opinion.

Sugar is killing millions in all it's forms, moderation is required with it like it used to be, a treat not a daily food staple.
