I might be addicted. Probably I should just create an account. The posters here are wickedly funny and some even show signs of intelligence.

Weird, so they represent and promote 'fringe art', but name their group sick of the fringe?

I think they need a better marketing campaign Chuckle
If you have to fight, fight like the third monkey on the ramp to Noah's Ark. And brother, it's starting to rain...

The Sick of the Fringe is a strategy, an ethos, a community, which makes the world safe (or safer) for challenging art and challenging realities.

The challenges we are particularly interested in fighting include inequality, inaccessibility, elitism and mediocrity.

We fight on behalf of artists, audiences and the public good, each in different ways.

This artist is sick of British politicians and especially Theresa May.
The freedom to love @awesome! Human life is worth more than Islam could ever be and heavenly life is awesomeness! Do you think that the Italians in Assisi would allow what is happening in our location to happen in Assisi? Definitely not, they wouldn't allow the cultural genocide of Assisi, so why do the English put up with it in England?

What exactly is challenging art? Would that be art where it is offensive to the majority of the public? I recall that artist that painted with menstrual blood. WTH?

I will never forget the day I was a volunteer chaperone for my kid on his 6th grade field trip to the Denver Art museum. They put me in control of 6 kids all at 12 years old. We are walking around viewing the art and came upon a very controversial display. The kids knew this was bad stuff started asking questions. What a nightmare. I told the kids to ask their parents but end result was parents got upset, school was involved, teachers.... all because we went on a field trip to the Art Museum and a controversial artists was allowed to display their work.
