Anyone else have the urge to leave civilization , live off the land, eat raw squirrel, that kinda shit?

I like to know how to survive, but feel no need to prove it.
I have a box of band aids, and I don't need to get a cut to make sure they work.

But I can respect the peace and freedom being remote offers.
Life is simpler. Less stress, less pleasing others.
Satisfaction is relevant to daily tasks, and no need for engaging in bullshit that just does not matter to life.

Another plus for me- You get spiritual lessons from all things, if you take time to understand their language.

I don't know those squirrels are nothing to fool with.

Grab a pack and a rifle and just keep walking into the woods until there is zero chance of finding your way back?

I can't be the only one who thinks like this.

I'm beginning to think i'm the only one who thinks like this.

Sadly, the 'woods' in my area are surrounded by swamps and gators. There is a high chance of not finding my way back and a high chance of you finding my remains in a pile of gator crap.

Not me. I grew up a bush rat and have no desire to live that way. I can do it but prefer to not have to.

I'll be honest, i'm not a big "people person"
The fringe is all the contact with people i need..

My problem is i have a very low bullshit/drama tolerance.
Aaaand it's just about reached it's peak.

I tend to come to the "fringes" when i need to earn a bit of money, and slip away before i completely lose my mind..lol

Sucks cause this job pays good, but all good things must come to an end..
