My compound prob weighs about 4kgs with all the gadgets, I love speed and accuracy.

I did set the draw length and pull for an old lady's arm. The yellow one is 22lbs for me and the blue one 27lbs for my buddy. You can adjust the pull on these by the string length and where the nochs are are on the Siyahs. You can reinforce these with some fiberglass parking indicator rods up to 50 lbs, but my old ass ain't for it any more. Even as it is, the arrows pop the target well, or can go all the way into sod! Almost lost one. We shoot at about 30 yds max.
Oh yeah, and we strung it with paracord! Works fine. Just dont leave these in the sun or they will lose it - arizona hot car, no go.

Backyard boyer on youtube show me the way. Made simple 2x4 jigs, and just used a heat gun and aluminum foil as a heating oven. Clamping was the hardest part.

I just made up 9 more arrows, I buy shafts cut to length and fletched with nocks, then buy the point inserts and poins separate. It works out cheaper + its a more custom arrow.

I lost 2 on the weekend triggering the release before ready, oops! There goes $24. So yeah its a cheap game once set up but loosing decent arrows regularly can make it the opposite.

Whats the moral of the story? Finger releasing is cheaper than using release aids. Haha.

Nocked a few.

Browning recurve.

Guaranteed to shoot through the indoor target and the plastic trashcan and the acoustic guitar behind all that.

I shot my little buddy from about 200 yards. (Just stick in his shoulder and bounced out with target tip)

But it was his fault.

I have an English Longbow, haven't shot any bolts in a few years - back in the day, I practiced on a regular basis and could do 00 at 200 yards 3 out of 4 bolts.
Might break it out again.....

Still have my old BEAR from when I was a kid. Love that things, just bought a new string for it. Last time I took it out..it started falling apart. I still want a recurve to have with me. Be like the Duke boys with their bows near by. The bow is a awesome quiet weapon that I feel is still very important today. Love it.
