Have to give it to that little commie (I keep forgetting her name. That tells me I think she's a flake not worth listening to. Eyeroll ) from NY. She has called for the lawmakers to not take their salary while a .gov shutdown is active. She is going to be so much fun for those old guys up there. She is going to have to be educated on every little thing they do. Wonder if they are going to get tired of babysitting her? Ahhhhh, the people's revenge. Sending this little girl to Congress. Yessss... Jptdknpa

It still managed to steal my money that it refuses to put towards The Wall.

How come the shutdowns never affect the Internally Ramming Service?

Because IRS is Sited in Puerto Rico Trust # 1 , down in that Caribbean Trust Territory .

I heard/saw that the trash service for DC was stopped and piling up...

Then the rats will come out and everybody will get bubonic plague and die...….

Hopefully Schumer and Pelosi will be stricken first...

So it's the Park Service that is sitting on their asses during the shutdown. The trash is building on "Federal lands." So be it. The "District of Taxation with No Representation" will assist the feds. Convoluted, aint it? Scratchinghead

"Trash builds up along the National Mall as trash collectors are off work during a partial shutdown of the federal government"

If the pigs (oops, I meant people) and the vermin (typo, visitors) would pick up after themselves there wouldn't be a need for a federal parks service litter detail, each getting paid $65k per year plus medical insurance and a fat pension.

Short story Politico..

Agencies affected, 9 and a few partials.....

"Federal offices were set to re-open Wednesday for normal business, unless they were among the nine departments without government funding. Those include the departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Justice, State, Transportation and Treasury. NASA and the Food and Drug Administration are among the federal agencies hit by the shutdown as well."
