Happy Bill of Rights Day … Are There Any Left?

Today is Bill of Rights Day in America.
Happy Bill of Rights Day!
This post explains the liberties guaranteed in the Bill of Rights – the first 10 amendments to the United States Constitution – and provides a scorecard on the extent of the loss of each right.

Where Independence Is Illegal Without a Permit

These days, you need permission from the government to do just about anything, including feeding yourself or others.
  • Do you own a car? Every year, you must go down to the DMV and pay the government for permission to drive it.
  • Do you own a business? You must register it and pay an annual fee to operate it.
  • Do you want to renovate your home? You must pay the government to come and tell you if you’re allowed to, how you are allowed to, and to check it afterward to make sure you complied with all of their rules.
  • Do you want to swap your homemade goodies for someone else’s homemade goodies? You’re supposed to get permission from the government to do it, and they’d also like you to pay them taxes on the transaction.
  • Do you want to educate your children at home? In some states, you have to pay for permission to do that. You still have to pay taxes to support your local school, mind you, but you’ll need a “permit” on top of it.
  • Do you want to hunt or fish to supplement your food budget? You’re supposed to go get a license to do that, too.
  • Do you want to go off the grid? If you’re even allowed to, you’ll have to get a permit and an inspection.
Damn that was a disturbing read. It's partly our fault though, apathy is destroying the American spirit. Each generation is worse than the last at protecting our rights. We let them brainwash our kids in school. The children are taught at a young age that the government is an all powerful entity that should be obeyed without question.

Whats sad is the fact that if people guarded their rights with extreme prejudice in the first place, the fight to re-affirm our rights would never have to happen. It won't be today, but sooner or later something will happen where people will say, "we have nothing more to lose". Electing Trump is only first battle. From what I see in the young ones today, the leaders of the future, our generation will have to do it. After we are gone I'm afraid it's lost for good.

Behind almost every liberal crusade of the past several decades, from the blocking of voter ID laws to the Syrian refugee crisis, there has been one man quietly pulling the puppet strings from the background: George Soros. So imagine our complete shock when we discovered Soros to be the financing source behind Facebook's "third-party fact checking" organization retained to flag, and thus eliminate, "fake news."

Just yesterday, Facebook posted the following press release to their website detailing their plans to use a "third-party fact checking organization," known as The Poynter Institute, to flag "fake news." The role of the "fact checkers" will be to review news stories and flag anything they deem to be "fake" so that it can be deprioritized on Facebook's news feed.

Who else is behind the dismantling of the First Amendment?

The remaining six funding sources, or the individuals who started the endowments, for the ‘independent’ Poynter group are described in Wikipedia as

“an American businessman” (Arthur Blank, worth over $3 billion)
US “businessman and media mogul” Roy H. Park (“known for creating the Duncan Hines brand of packaged food products and for his television/radio/newspaper conglomerate”)
“American business magnate” Bill Gates (worth over $80 billion)
eBay founder, Nevada resident and billionaire Pierre Omidyar, who has also started The Intercept
Hungarian-American “business magnate” and “political activist” George Soros (worth over $20 billion)
Google, which Wikileaks has illustrated is a virtual arm of the US government, and which research by respected psychologist Robert Epstein determined was attempting to influence the election on behalf of Hillary Clinton.
