Sometimes it means waiting longer than just moments.

Thanks SR-25, this is a good definition of soon. The short delay, that seems like infinity when I'm impatient.
When I say the word 'soon' it's usually in a sentence such as "I'll do it soon" which in Grumpy Geezereze means quit bugging me about it, I'll do it when I freaking feel like doing it and the more you bug me about it the longer it's going to take for me to get around to it.

It doesn't even matter if you actually hand me one, I'll get to it when I'm ready.

"Soon" to some isn't the same definition as it is to others

I can say "I'll be ready to go soon"

And maybe I haven't even got in the shower yet Chuckle
