Creepy. He must have paid over a half billion for it.

I don't even want to think about his motives.

Da Vinci’s “Savior of the World” found on Saudi prince MBS’ yacht

PARIS – The “lost” painting by Leonardo da Vinci “The Savior of the World” (Salvator Mundi), which was sold for a record 450 million dollars in 2017, was discovered to be on the yacht of Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman, known in western press as MBS. This was revealed in a June 10th report on the portal with reference to two sources....

Damn! What a baller

If you study that painting, it really looks feminine.. hint of a bosom, poufy sleeve shoulder, pouty full lips...feminine hands...

Extra curly curls just hitting the shoulder...
Some refer to this one as Mister Lisa .

Some experts maintain it's not even a Da Vinci.

I have a sepia Mona Lisa lithograph in my kitchen, the drapery of the gown folds, are the same, the eyes undercast stroke is the same, the little point at the top of the head in the part is the same, I believe it is DaVinci…

Should not be on a yacht in sea matter what precautions are being taken to safeguard it...
It's a confusing article.

"According to sources, the painting will remain on the yacht until
the construction of the cultural center in Al-Ula in Saudi Arabia is
completed. According to the website, work can take up to five years."

"The Louvre expressed the hope that the whereabouts of the painting
“will be known” in the coming months and visitors can see it at an
exhibition, timed to the 500th anniversary of the death of the world
famous artist. It will open in Paris on October 24th."

So it seems it will be loaned to the Louvre for the fall exhibition.
I don't know that a Christian masterpiece can be deemed safe
residing in an Islamic dictatorship, whatever reforms MBS has
ostensibly taken, along with his recent overtures of religious tolerance. 1dunno1

Then again what of all the priceless works located in the Louvre
and elsewhere in Paris, and we all know what is going on in France
these days. Not to mention all of the museums and repositors of
Western culture throughout steadily Islamicized Europe. The
Louvre has to my recollection already been the target of Islamic
terrorism, or terrorist attempts.
