Snippet and this is the last thread I'm posting today!

Officials say a levee along the Arkansas River has breached, prompting a flash flood warning and evacuation of a rural area in western Arkansas.

The levee breached early Friday at Dardanelle, about 60 miles (95 kilometers) northwest of Little Rock. Yell County officials had anticipated the breach and urged residents in the nearby Holla Bend area to evacuate Thursday.

Extra bonus music video because I grew up on this stuff and back when I thought I could accomplish everything and just basically became a meat puppet drone, but oh well, I have death to look forward to!

Thanks I forgot what a good song that is...

When the Levee Breaks

Led Zeppelin, Yat-Kha, Albert Kuvezin

If it keeps on rainin' levee's goin' to break
If it keeps on rainin' levee's goin' to break

When the levee breaks I'll have no place to stay.
Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan
Lord mean old levee taught me to weep and moan
Got what it takes to make a mountain man leave his home

Oh well oh well oh well.
Don't it make you feel bad
When you're tryin' to find your way home
You don't know which way to go?
If you're goin' down South
They go no work to do,
If you don't know about Chicago.
Cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do you no good,
Now, cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do you no good,
When the levee breaks, mama, you got to move.

All last night sat on the levee and moaned,
All last night sat on the levee and moaned,
Thinkin' 'bout me baby and my happy home.
Going, go'n' to Chicago,
Go'n' to Chicago,
Sorry but I can't take you.

Going down, going down now, going down
going down now, going down, going down, going down, going down
Going down, going down now, going down
going down now, going down
going down now, going down
Going d-d-d-d-down
Woo woo

Hang in there, Lobbie! The U.S.S. Batfish is floating in the Arkansas
River in Tulsa. It normally sits on dry land well away from the water.
I will contact the Governor and see if he won't send the War Memorial
to your rescue.
It's a good idea. They could also guard against any Russians who
caused all this flooding in the first place.

My mom lives there. She called me yesterday after she had to go to town for groceries. She was so shaken and bothered by what she had seen.
She had to cross the big bridge and a trip that normally takes her 30 minutes round trip took her 3+ hours. The bridge was down to one lane and the sand bags were starting to fail just on the other side of the bridge so water was starting to come onto the main road.
The levee that broke today flooded the fields that my dad used to play and work in as a boy.
I live just north of Fort Smith in NW Arkansas and the flooding in that area is just crazy! Met a couple yesterday that are from there and they had to come all the way to Fayetteville just to get a hotel room for a few weeks till the water recedes.
Never seen anything like it. :(
