Pleased to hear about this, I think that this means that American big tech will cease to have a monopoly of transactions globally. It appears that Russia's intent is so that America doesn't have control over Russia's internet and to protect itself from any cyber attacks. So we can anticipate that there will be an alternative to Pay Pal etc.

The global internet system is very fragile with all these cables running under the Ocean, no doubt they have become a military target if something was to take place to shut down the biggest communications network on the planet. It would be safer no doubt if every country had its own global internet system.

Having a payment processor like Paypal is also good for business and I'm sure it would increase trade and help Russia.
