This is a very revealing video. For myself, I never spent much time on this subject, because I could see the transparency of the players in the party. But I always wondered who the brains behind the strategies we're seeing are.

Chuckle I wish! The pics have started to trickle in over at spaceweather.com from northern Europe.

Actually, it's anticipated to be visible down into the lower 48. Now a person could get set up on a tripod away from city lights and leave the shutter open for max light accumulation. I've seen awesome pics out of Arkansas like that.

Yep. I'm in Wisconsin. Last time I saw an aurora this far south was October 1977

1st time was in Pengilly, MN in 72. Just pale blue streaking across the sky.
