Stupid question, has anyone tried these fishing yo yo’s before. I was wondering about them for a bug out bag.

My brother used them in Florida, him and his fishing buddies caught Grouper, shark, and redfish on them.

@Winter Steelheader

I gave up on Fly Fishing when a kid as, i watched stream fishermen. The guys with the spinning rods were hauling in a lot of Trout from the stream bank while, the Fly Fishermen were constantly casting and changing flies and catching NOTHING.

A bag of cherry bombs and a net may also he a good option.

I've never used one but, anything that will allow you to cast a distance is good. Even a tree branch and some fishing tackle. If you want worms, look for a patch of grass w/soft soil and pour hot water on it. They will surface quickly.

Growing up in Oklahoma, I’ve heard of this but never seen it in action. Kinda reminds me of the newer A Team movie when they “fly” the tank into the the guy that is “Stick Fishing” and the wife starts laughing.

Fishing YoYos ! For me they work great I carry two with a few hooks and some lead on my motorcycle I go camping a lot in the summer months . They would be great in a bug out bag
