There are folks in H-Wood who aren't flaimen liberal crazies. They get work because they are extremely talented ..and no one else is up to their caliber.

I want to draw attention  to John Milius. Few of you have any idea who this guy is but, you know his stuff and, sometimes quote it. John is and old fart now and still a genius at creating great lines. He's often the "Fixer", who's brought in to save a boring script.

So, here are a few of John's lines that you know. And, I'll look for screen examples of them delivered by very good talent.

Bad Bob's lines delivered by Stacy Keach, in The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean:

You go tell that snake-scum judge that I intend to burn his eyes out
and feed him to the buzzards..
--John Milius

Here's the clip. One of my favorite film scenes..

If Hollywood is your meal ticket, you need to consider other options.
John wrote the script for Coppola's Apocalypse Now. Few know this. Most think Francis wrote it. Francis hired John to pen the script and screen play.

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning"

John wrote the script for Dirty Harry. It went uncredited until recently.

"Ask yourself one question, 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do you, punk?"

There are highly talented people in many fields. Many, lesser talented, are jealous and resentful of these people. I've seen it in Academics and in the Creative Arts. It's especially, and highly exhibited, among Millennials.

You can't teach people to be creative. It's something you have or lack. Life isn't fair.
There ' s No Business Like . . .

.
I got sick of The BIZ eventually .

" Legit " Stage is a lot different from Screen . A Theater Troop becomes like Family . Hollywood just sucked .

Not related to the above. Milius was John Goodmans inspiration for his character Walter Sobchak in The Big Lebowski.
I always liked Judge Roy Bean.

Yep. Conan was a huge success for John and Arnold.
