This is where they brought all of the damaged/destroyed Emergency services vehicles after the twin tower collapse.
The video is quite humbling .....

Amazing all those wrecks have withstood the test of time all these years...i had thought the vehicles were turned into scrap, interesting
Wow. Opens your eyes. The sacrifices those vehicles must have witnessed.

I, like the rest of you shall never forget that terrible day
I think of all emergency services, firemen have it the hardest, they have to go to every call. Hope the people that were in those vehicles are doing allright today.

@sivil - sadly most of those that manned those vehicles perished that day.

Most probably know this, but maybe not everyone...our very own @Miscellaneous was there that day in an emergency services position  Heartflowers

This was filmed around June 2002 - at 02:10 you hear him say "Now, eight months later....".

Not sure if they preserved the wreckages or scrapped them.

It seems that most wreckage was housed in Hanger 17 at JFK Airport for several years and later distributed all over America for remembrance/memorials.
