I'll argue with you.

What would you like to argue about?
Well maybe we can argue about what liberal means?

Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on liberty and equality.[1][2][3] Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but they generally support civil rights, democracy, secularism, gender equality, racial equality, internationalism, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, and free markets.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10]

Sorry, didn't mean to run you off.

We can argue about what arguing with progressives is like if you want.

Just thought it was funny. I like funny.

Albeit some truth...in this case.

Even on the Sunday morning political shows. There is a one-sided argument. One side is asked to explain things the other side is asked to explain why the other side is so evil. For example in the abortion issue no one from the left side was ever asked
" when does Life Begin?" Is human life sacred? Should taxpayers money be used to pay for the destruction of human life? Is the baby part of the woman's body or is it possible that the baby is a human life?
That is to say, by avoiding the rational argument based on facts and instead calling names, the conversations never actually take place. Hence, the humor of the op

Using even the slanted search engines, ask
What percentage of the u.s. prison population is illegal immigration folks. ( 30% ish

Then try to have a conversation about that issue. The result is found in the original o p gif.

Don't need to rebut.

That paragraph describes today's liberals: liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles.

Problem is, their understanding.

Liberalism is based upon 'liberty and equality'. Liberals support 'civil rights' But..in practice, Civil Rights, means passing special laws that treat people classified into privileged social classifications differently than others. Thus, in practice, liberals are opposed to equality, which is the principle espoused in the 14th amendment, that under the law, all people are treated the same.

Another example is taxation, where Liberals strongly support a tax structure to the point it's been named for them: 'Progressive Taxation'. This concept ignores the 14th amendment concept of Equality Under the Law, and singles out people based upon their Income Levels and requires some people to pay more taxes than others, regardless that their consumption of the Outputs of Government is no more than others. Liberals are opposed to Equality under the Law.

Liberals appear opposed to Freedom of speech and it's well known that they label speech they are opposed to as 'hate speech' and suppress it. Dozens of speakers, including Donald Trump's ex-Press Sect. Sean Spicer, have been labelled 'racist' or 'Nazi' and then attempts have been made to stop them from speaking. This is obviously also occurring on the internet with regularity.

Liberals have no belief in Free Markets at all, and prefer a large central government having power over markets. Specifically look up the noted Liberal economist, Robert Reich, and the Liberal Filmmaker, Michael Moore, who have both called for a Government Bureaucracy called a Manufacturing Board, that would dictate what goods and services are produced by the US Economy, so outputs would align with Social Justice ends. .
