The Diocese of Covington has been evacuated amid reports of a suspicious package.

According to Kenton County dispatchers, several emergency crews responded to reports of a suspicious package at the Roman Catholic diocese in the 1100 block of Madison Avenue.

Officials with the diocese said they received several packages Wednesday, deeming one of them suspicious in nature.

The Cincinnati Bomb Squad and emergency management is on the scene.
