So yeah, that's happening. The Surrender Monkies and the Krauts are teaming up under the EU umbrella to push for an army for Europe.

Led of course by Germany with France as a side kick.

Quote:Germany’s defence minister has confirmed that “a united EU military is becoming a reality,” after her ally and Chancellor Angela Merkel backed Emmanuel Macron’s call for a “real European army.”

“Europe’s army is already taking shape,” Ursula von der Leyen wrote in an opinion piece for Handelsblatt on Thursday.

“Germany and France are the driving forces in defence,” Ms von der Leyen boasted, adding that “We’re moving even further ahead with our close partner France” after the two countries agreed to sign a “new Elysèe Treaty” which, amongst other efforts to, in effect, merge aspects of the two countries, includes common defence.

“Our stated goal is for European nations to speak with a co-ordinated voice in the United Nations.

The big question and greatest concern is, what is the purpose of an EU (Franco-German) army, which only two and a half years ago was heralded as a dangerous fantasy, but now proclaimed as a necessity to combat the threat of Russia, China, and last but not least, the United States?

Well, two and a half years ago, the politicians clearly lied. Nothing new there. But is Macron, (and the quite obvious German power behind him), seriously suggesting that he considers the United States, who have spent the last seventy years protecting Western Europe with great expense of treasure, not least of which was the Marshall plan, are now considered to be a hostile foreign power?

I think not. Do the people of western Europe feel threatened by the United States, or for that matter Russia? Have they ever been asked? So, given the duplicity of EU politicians, and the unrestrained power of bureaucracy, what is it's true purpose?

It is now quite obvious that the previously silent majorities across Europe are far from happy with globalist policies, continually inflicted on them by a less and less accountable bureaucracy, assuming without consent the mantle of statehood, -German led of course. So is this new EU army for external border protection, or an internal security arm, to protect the interests of leaders who, with democracy breaking out across Europe, clearly no longer have a popular mandate?

What of this army? The disparate organisational logistical, and linguistic military variations across western Europe, were largely brought to some form of loose cohesion by NATO, though the varied political and commercial interests have rendered them far from efficient, the Franco-German elements certainly have training systems in place, regardless of the mental and physical fighting calibre of those currently serving. Would they mindlessly turn their guns on their own people on the orders of bureaucrats in Brussels? I think not.

The last four years has seen an unprecedented influx of physically fit third world men of military age, forced onto Western Europe, all unemployable in any meaningful productive occupation of benefit to the western economies. Military basic infantry training takes of the order of twenty-six weeks. So what if the extant military training establishments are now focused on recruiting en masse, the otherwise useless elements of foreign economic migration, while reducing the intake of European Millennium '$nowlakes?' Whistle blowers within the German police, have already exposed the detrimental effect such recruitment has had on them.

So what would happen when Merkel and Macron arm such a force, rapidly comprising mostly of foreign elements, who come to dominate the sharp end fighting elements of such an army? Would they have any compunction against turning their guns on the people of Europe, paid by, and under the orders of Brussels (Berlin) bureaucrats? I think not.

Though given the demographic and 'religious' nature of Merkel's 'guests,' have these politicians and bureaucrats in literally all of their wisdom, considered what happens, when the foreign army have subdued or driven out the people of Europe, and realise that they don't need to wait for pay decided by Brussels (Berlin) bureaucrats, and can turn their guns on their mentors, take, and do what they want?

Well Merkel has her ranch in Paraguay. Have the others made arrangements to skedaddle when I$lam comes calling?
How can either be a force for defense when they already allowed their countries to be invaded? I suppose they'll arm the invaders and call them the armed forces
"driving forces in defense" Lol
as someone who has actually served in the german army putting it that way sounds like satire.
decades of cuts and a general aversion to everything that remotely resembles innovation destroyed our capability to even remotely defend this country against a modern threat. we are basically like poland back in the day when germany invaded them with tanks while all they had was cavalry. Chuckle

The U.S. has been warning the Europeans that we are tired of paying for their defense. I am glad to see they are doing something. They should be reimbursing the U.S for all of the technology and weapons systems we have bestowed upon them Ungrateful bastards they are.

It is ironic to have the Krauts working side by side with the French! That is like a dog and a cat having sex.
