Everything depends on coverage: who hears it. That's why the media's silent. One of the most effective propaganda principles is never mentioning inconvenient truth. If the propaganda organ has credibility (e.g. ALL the news fit to print) those who follow it assume if it's not covered it's either unimportant or fake. And that's what they've been relying on.

Trouble is, for them, Trump has allowed them since his inauguration to expose themselves as profoundly biased players. And in the case of this subject matter, where state surveillance of an American citizen strikes to the core of "The land of the FREE...," this is a subject where they have no good option. If they don't cover it they further expose their profound bias. If they do cover it they must cover all, which exposes themselves as at best incompetent and at worst malevolent, for not having previously covered it.

Checkmate.

Wouldn't it be wild if Trump took over all of the airways?   Chuckle

Seriously though, I doubt he can, but wonder if there is anything out there that would allow it? Anyone know, or know who to ask?

Emergency Alert System (EAS)

The Emergency Alert System (EAS) is a national public warning system that requires broadcasters, cable television systems, wireless cable systems, satellite digital audio radio service (SDARS) providers, and direct broadcast satellite (DBS) providers to provide the communications capability to the President to address the American public during a national emergency.

Didn't anyone see napolitano on fox just now?

He said just because the POTUS declassifies something doesn't mean the people will see it because there are laws that govern this stuff and dozen of eyes will be on this stuff and it may take weeks before it comes out. He gave a list of items that will not be declassified and it seems as though we're going to get nothing. Was so busy getting angry didn't catch the laundry list of things we can't see.

Now that some of this is declassified, there well be leaks. Just like the leaked/released texts and emails.

I've dismissed Napolitano as not credible if not a disinformation agent for some time.
I see this as Trump giving himself an hammer. There is no way these deep staters are going implicate themselves and cough up this stuff without a fight so now Trump can order them to or resign, or get terminated. They're cornered like rats but they may try to launch their last line of defense before they fall. End game coming.
I wonder what the other hand is doing....
Don ' t touch Me THERE !

Exactly right and this has galled me for many years. People rely on our public Airwaves which are not public anymore.
Driving on the interstate yesterday listening to Limbaugh, a woman called up an old woman very old called up so angry asking how can we get people to report this. She was so old and so cute but that is the Crux of the problem.

You do make a very good point though he the current president has put them in a bit of a bind. It's his favorite past time it seems

Well now that is entirely possible.
Nothing might happen.
But none-the-less this is put into the body of information the ethosphere the airwaves The Vibes of the universe.
None the less the truth can get documented. None the less people will have less of excuse to cower behind their pillows. None-the-less when people do as Q asks and a million other people ask which is to go research things for themselves---. They will find out more information than before this.

And someday a straw will break the camel's back for this person or for that person. One day a straw will break the camel's back for this station for that station.

One day the straw will break the camel's back for this nation or that Nation, for this people or for that people. And I would like my positive vibe my energy to be part of the global energy that searches for truth rather than poo poos on everything
