Oh awesome, now I know why the jelly candies from Europe taste better than the ones made in the USA.

In the USA many of the jelly type candies use cornstarch instead of animal gelatin.

I love jello. But I also like ham hocks in my beans, so I may be the weird one.

There is a yogurt company that uses fish bones as their gelatin.
I do not like jelly candy.
I recently discovered carrot juice turns into the creepiest and coolest AMAZING blob of jelly right before souring.

I learned that about carrots when I lost a pack of baby carrots in my fridge for I don't know how long. I found them shoved down in the crisper under some things and they were a gelatinous blob.
