It's how they have been winning elections for years. Â We all know this...and we have been given many instances this past year with actual proof. Â This is why the house is blue...again. Â
I'm praying right now...I'm praying that those in charge are closer to doing something about it for good. I'm praying for Truth and Justice and confirmation through action. Â It needs to end this year. Or it will never end. It'll only get worse...I don't want to see our country get worse. It won't be worth defending anymore. I'll be pissed off and rogue and no one will want that.
What I have learned from being around all of you, is that when I am feeling down about all this...to wait a few days for more to come out...everything changes, what I couldn't see becomes clearer, more in focus to the plan...and it lifts my spirit and I get calm and patient, again. Â
Focus and clarity, to see the bigger picture...I'm praying for that now too.
This is exactly how I and I know several others are feeling. Something has to happen and very soon. I go up and down, and right now, so much is negative news. Just waiting for something to break. And honestly, so much is going on we don't see. It's just difficult....
We must always keep in mind that warfare is as much psychological as it is physical, ESPECIALLY at the strategic level, because those are the people who send the troops into battle or withdraw them out of the battle, and determine the timing of when it should be done. Their decisions can save or cost thousands of lives. When they get psyched out, the troops suffer.
The White Hat's 'playbook' is THE ART OF WAR, which is full of axioms and strategies for winning a war BEFORE you enter battle. Two of those are: "When you are strong, appear to be weak", and "Let the enemy believe that they are winning", and both may apply to what is happening every time we feel setbacks ... like right now!
Do you want the enemy to let their guard down? Let them think you are no loner a threat to them. Want the enemy to get haughty and make dumb mistakes? Let them believe they are winning and that you are on the precipice of total defeat. Let them believe that they are now in control of the situation!
Are perceived setbacks and delays frustrating? You'd better believe it. But it is a thousand times better to daily feel an onslaught of setbacks and frustrations and to win in the end than to daily feel great about your effort and lose in the end! Let's let the DS do that, okay?
How did Joshua defeat the City of Ai? He used the real defeat of the small contingent of Israelites the day before to make the town folk over-confident in their ability to defeat the Israelites. The next day he sent out another small contingent which again ran away ... but it led the Army of Ai right into a trap and they were utterly destroyed and their city reduced to a pile of destroyed buildings ('Ai' literally means 'heap').
Did you know that in the writings found in the ancient city of Ugarit and the ruins of many Canaanite cities there is mention of a fierce enemy who could not be defeated and had everyone terrorized and panicked? They are called the 'Ebiru' and none of the archaeologists can figure out who they were, but for us, it is simple! "Ebiru"=Hebrew! Joshua was famous and his foes psyched out!! So let's follow his example and keep winning (in the end)!
Thank you Hickory for taking the time to write that. I actually felt a peace after reading this.
