This is a terrible post.  Negatively emotional and just as uncaring as those you claim have no feelings.

It saddens me greatly to read smart people write awful things about a tragedy they didn't experience.

I am also willing to bet that the home owner was shot by more than one cop too, once one pulls the trigger its a free for all and everyone shoots,  they are maniacs with guns, no different than the criminals with guns, just the ones in blue get free reign to do what they want

I like you, but I'm not with you on this one.

This thread has saddened me on more levels than the actual incident...

I like you a lot as well, but just like my wife we are not going to agree on everything and that is still fine to have a great relationship. Drinks

I just wish I could take you on a ride along with normal human being cops and you could see the crazy shit they have to deal with everyday out here in Houston.
Whether or not; there are some good cops but the reality is these guys wont cross that thin blue line they work for the corporate legislative power not we the people . With that being said, this can be " There's not a thing so dismal that a cop can't make it worse even if can be justified " .

I do not oppose Unity . I do not oppose Order. I oppose the means by which that Unity and Order are manifested and maintained. Greed, anger, fear, and thirst for power have failed us. Until we have Unification without fear ... without violence ... without greed ... There will be No World Order .

Having served 32 years in a major metropolitan police department, I can say without exception that the police officers of today are TOO QUICK to resort to the use of firearms and are trigger happy!

Hopefully the wife will come forward and release a press conference or YouTube video detailing the events of the night and the execution of her husband.

White lives matter right?

So where are we going riot and loot tonight?

trust me I have seen enough from the streets of South Boston growing up, and I know cops are putting themselves out there, and I can sympathize to a degree, but when a cop does wrong the same laws they enforce dont always apply to them. Policing has gotten out of hand the last 20-25 years. I remember running from the police and they could only chase you, now they shoot to kill for not obeying any order they give and none are held accountable.

you are the only cops I respect, thank you, thank you very much for speaking out that there is a major diff between enforcing the law from your era and now. Drinks
Timeline doesn't add up in this story at all.

Armed person breaks in, starts beating on juvenile, father calls 911, gets his gun and ............... what? ... waits till the cops show up to start shooting the armed intruder? ... thus causing the police to hear the gunshots and bust into the house? ... catching the father with the gun he just used to shoot the intruder ... and shoots him thinking he is the intruder?

bullshit. doesn't make sense.

This could be a case where the father shoots the intruder, then walks around with his gun waiting on the cops, cops bust in , sees his gun and shoots him .... then cops lie about hearing gun shots to give them an excuse as to why they busted into the house.

Or perhaps the cops just busting inside, shooting in a blaze of glory and the father is not at fault at all.

But this story ... does not add up.
