That disco song epitomises everything that's wrong with disco.

I  can't even bring myself to click on your rap example. I shudder to think.
I'm traumatised enough for one day.  Scream1

That wasn’t even real disco.  Chuckle

As we used to say, Disco Sucks

Disco was super cool..

The Bee Gees actually had some really cool songs before they injured their testicles.
I was a church choirboy & I remember getting lectured by some arsewipe who overheard me warming up before the Easter service singing a Bee Gees song. 'This is the Lords house & you will not sing such garbage here!' he spluttered with spittle flying.

At the time I really didn't see what the problem was.
Neither did one of the young adults who took me aside & said 'Don't worry about him.' & started talking about Bee Gee songs.

It was one of those turning moments in a young boys life (I was 9-10yo) This girl was gorgeous. She leaned forward as she spoke to me, revealing magnificent milky white cleavage. Her dress was such that I saw more than maybe she was aware. Although I wasn't exactly sure why, at that moment I knew without any doubt that I loved boobies. Yeah3

Nahhhhh, I like some disco, but it was despised by the rock and rollers. Twisted sister came to mind because when they played live, a huge DISCO SUCKS light display hung over their stage

I like some, not all.. I don’t actually own any disco albums.. Chuckle

All those old rockers need to get a life, it’s not like their music was all good. Yawn. Get a haircut.

At least disco died.. then it shifted into early 80s funk, one of my fav genres.

Too cool for school..

Nothing more unattractive than “men” wearing makeup with really long hair.

Thats where gender confusion started, and guys loved it. Chuckle

Wtf.

You can’t make this shit up.. Chuckle

Aaahhh

Funk you!

We hated disco with a passion.

Around 1985 I'd just moved into a semi-detached in Crows Nest.
A couple of biker buddies had helped me move & we were sitting in the loungeroom drinking Jimmy & coke, when this gay couple next door thought they'd welcome me to the neighbourhood with Boney M full blast.

If they wanted to upset me they couldn't have chosen better. Their window was a few feet from mine.
Before I could react, my mate Pete, a rather scary looking gentleman, roared 'Turn that shit off before I fuckn lose it & come over there!' hahaha
They turned it off immediately & I'm happy to say that from then on, my neighbours were quite considerate re; their choice of music & it's volume.

Funniest thing was as the music died, we heard one of the neighbours say, quietly expecting us not to hear, 'Ooh he sounds like a brute.' hahaha Pete responded loudly 'You don't know the fuckn half of it pal.' bwahahaha
