I spent time on Twitter yesterday reading Kanye's tweets and the reactions. He made a statement-
Quote:You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.
People bashed him and many other stars/singers deleted him because he expresses independent thought. It did not agree with their opinion or the Democrat talking points.

Another one from Kanye-
Quote:if you feel something don't let peer pressure manipulate you
Peer Pressure. A phrase I heard so much when I was in grade school. Peer pressure is now something adults have to deal with. Kanye is dealing with peer pressure from his friends and fans. He is an adult with children yet he is being told what he can and cannot say. They are telling him to think as they do and be a sheep. It is interesting to watch the meltdown of his friends and fans. People should be very afraid of group think.
Anyone remember that gig where he went on a rant about pizzagate ?

Regardless of if people like him or not the kid knows things. And lots of people will listen to him.

I agree with both of you, but it is a great deal of fun to watch the liberal snowflake's heads explode.

Comedy gold!

True. But over the years, I've managed to separate talent from politics. Sometimes, it's harder with some entertainers than with others.

It is harder. My favorite artist is a gung ho feminist and Hillary supporter Facepalm Promised if Hillary were elected she'd perform 'Landslide' at the Inaugural Ball. Stevie has so much talent though and is never a bitch about it so I forgave her Chuckle

I do remember a clip from one of his shows right around election time. I don't remember if he mentioned PG but he did show his support for Trump and his frustration/anger with Jay-Z and Beyonce over something. He had tried to reach out to them and was rejected?

You are probably right Mystic. All this stuff starts to blend into one.
One of Kanye's black friends decided to defend him. Such a simple sentence.Chance the Rapper said:
“Black people don’t have to be democrats.”
I don't know if anyone has ever told the black community that. Chuckle it sounds stupid but if you are used to following others and being part of group think, imagine someone saying you have permission to join whatever political party you want.

People need to spam meme the black celebs about how Dems fought AGAINST freedom of Blacks - and how many Dems HAD hundreds of slaves...

REPUBLICANS were the saviours - I deliberately DON'T Capitalise that - of the Blacks in the USA, the DEMOCRATS were the OWNERS...

Black people HAVE to know the truth including what Nixon said about naggers...

Spread it - meme it - send it - awaken it - unveil it...

I understand what you are saying @Munchaab but a meme is a meme. This week we have so far 2 rappers saying it is okay to think for yourself. It is okay to have your own thoughts. We have to rappers that are idols to many young blacks that are telling the kids it is your right to like who you like. Kanye may be doing this as a publicity stunt but some young blacks are thinking and they may decide they don't have to follow the crowd. IMO the black community is one of the worst enemies of the black community. One of our members had a thread a month ago about over hearing a conversation at a baseball game. A father figure trashing his over achieving son. That is part of the group think.

Kanye is still at it today and is preaching love. He is saying some smart things. I feel odd writing that because I always thought he was nuts but strangely Kanye is making sense.

try telling people you love them it actually feels weird at first. We're really good at hating each other. We have to get good at loving each other.
