Going to the Gun Range With Family Got These Students Suspended From School

A pair of students in New Jersey were reportedly suspended, one for an entire school week, after officials saw they went to the gun range with family and posted a photo of the outing on social media. From NJ.com:

A New Jersey school district that allegedly suspended two high school students this week over a gun photo taken during a family visit to a private shooting range is facing community backlash and the threat of a lawsuit over district policies.

The photo of four rifles, ammunition clips and a gun duffel bag was shared by one of the students on the social media app Snapchat with the caption "fun day at the range," according to Lacey Township resident Amanda Buron, a family friend of one of the students.

A screen capture of the image made the rounds among other students and later brought to the attention of Lacey Township High School officials. Buron said the students received a five-day in-school suspension for violating the school's policy on weapons possession.

Lawsuit time.

Take the control freaks to court and hit them right in the wallet.

Score some of that Soros/Bloomberg cash for yourself and keep it out of the hands of the morons who can do serious damage with it.
According to the student handbook at Lacey Township High School, students are not allowed to be in possession of “any weapon of any type for any reason or purpose whether on or off school grounds during the academic year” or they will face long-term suspension, evaluation by the high school Child Study Team, and a recommendation by the administration to the Board of Education for suspension for at least 1 year.

Control freaks are going to control freak.

A supervised visit to the range with your parents is not grounds for suspension from school.

Homeschool time and a nice big fat payout from a lawsuit. Bankrupt the fuckers. Make sure the staff in charge get hit hard over this stupidity.

It's time to do what needs doing to take the Republic back from the goose steppers.

Students' Constitutional rights trump the student handbook guidelines, pun intended.
"By law and by morality, the school shouldn't have the right to do anything about something that happens off school grounds," Cardinal said. "The boys were lawfully handling a gun at a shooting range."

A spokeswoman for the Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners pointed out that a 10-year-old can legally hunt in New Jersey.

"The policy is wrong," Theresa Inacker said. "They need to change their language and make this right."

This is exactly what needs to happen... and on a major level.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't New Jersey hate everything, including New Jersey?
