Perhaps the young'uns are the only ones naive enough to engage themselves in this system.

Sounds to me organized crime cults guised as religious institution can really benefit gaining offices and appointees, stacking infrastructure, building a ship of fools. Real scary stuff when you think about various extreme nutters fleecing flocks, controlling votes, elect,  their children as puppet staff, Trojan horse type stuff.
Wouldn't be hopping on any band wagons without any thought about. Critical Thinking not Group Thinking.
